Customize the OreUI Theme Colors for Your Preferred Aesthetic

Access Resource Pack Settings

The Unified Interface Matrix Resource Pack uses the OreUI theme as its base, but you can adjust how it appears in your world. Open your resource pack folder and locate the Unified Interface Matrix pack directory.

Modify Theme Colors

Look for configuration files or texture folders related to OreUI styling. The pack's color scheme typically centers on dark gray panels and borders. You can edit these by:

1. Finding the relevant .json or texture files that define panel colors, button shades, and border tones

2. Adjusting RGB or hex values to match your preferred color palette

3. Testing changes in-game by reloading the resource pack

Apply Changes Across All Interfaces

Once you modify the base theme colors, the changes propagate across all supported mod interfaces—from Mekanism machines to Applied Energistics 2 terminals. This ensures visual consistency even with your custom palette.

Reload and Verify

After editing, press F3 + T (or your reload key) to refresh textures. Check a few different mod screens to confirm the new colors apply uniformly. If colors don't match expectations, verify file paths and syntax before trying again.
