The Style Meter rewards varied and skillful combat actions. Simply attacking mobs repeatedly won't build style as effectively as mixing up your approach. The meter tracks how dynamically you fight.

Vary Your Attack Methods

Switch between different weapons, use projectiles like arrows, and incorporate blocking into your combat routine. Each different action type contributes to your style score. Avoid relying on a single attack pattern—the mod rewards combat diversity.

Use Blocking and Parrying Strategically

Defending against attacks, especially projectiles, generates style points and triggers the Parry Flash. Position yourself to block incoming damage rather than taking hits passively. This defensive play is rewarded equally with offensive moves.

Chain Actions Together

The key to high style scores is maintaining momentum. Keep moving between attacks, blocks, and weapon switches without long pauses. The longer you maintain active combat without idle time, the higher your style meter climbs. Practice flowing between different combat actions to keep the meter building continuously.
