How to Ride a Horse with Two Players

The Two Players One Horse Mod lets two players share a single horse instead of each needing their own mount. To use it, one player rides the horse normally. Once a player is mounted, a second player can join the ride as a passenger, letting both of you travel on the same animal.

This changes how group travel works: rather than splitting up across separate horses, you and a companion stay together on one mount. The mod is single-purpose, so it does not add new items, recipes, or other mechanics — it simply enables the second passenger slot on horses.

Because both riders occupy the same horse, you move as one unit. This is useful for keeping a pair together during exploration or travel, and it makes shared journeys feel more connected than riding side by side on two separate horses.
