Troubleshoot Twitch Messages Not Appearing

Verify Your Setup

1. Confirm you've entered your Twitch username and OAuth token correctly in the mod configuration

2. Check that you've run /twitch watch CHANNEL with a valid channel name

3. Ensure /twitch enable has been executed—integration is disabled by default

Check Channel Status

Make sure the Twitch channel you're watching is currently live or has active chat. Some channels may have restricted chat settings that prevent external connections.

Restart and Reconnect

If messages still don't appear:

1. Type /twitch disable

This forces the mod to re-establish its connection to Twitch.

Performance Considerations

The mod is designed to be lightweight, but high-volume chat channels may experience slight delays. If you're on a slower connection, messages may take a moment to sync between Twitch and Minecraft.
