Share Twitch Chat Messages with Your Minecraft Server

Understand Broadcast Modes

By default, Twitch chat messages appear only on your client. The broadcast feature relays these messages to your entire Minecraft server, allowing all players to see what Twitch viewers are saying.

Enable Broadcasting

Type /twitch broadcast true to relay Twitch chat messages to the server. All connected players will see incoming Twitch messages formatted in the Minecraft chatbox.

Disable Broadcasting

Type /twitch broadcast false to keep Twitch messages private to your client only. This is useful if you want to monitor chat without spamming your server.

Use Cases

  • Streamers: Enable broadcast so your server audience can interact with Twitch viewers in real-time
  • Solo Players: Keep broadcast disabled to avoid clutter while casually monitoring a stream
  • Multiplayer Servers: Coordinate with admins before enabling broadcast to ensure it fits your server culture
