Identifying Armor Types on Other Players
Quick Visual Recognition
With minimal armor, each material type remains color-coded and instantly recognizable, even from a distance. The crown helmets and shoulder pads preserve the distinctive hues of leather, iron, diamond, netherite, and other materials.
How to Tell What Armor Someone Wears
Look at the shoulder pads first. The chestplate material is most visible here—iron gleams silver, diamond shines blue, netherite appears dark gray, and leather shows its natural tan or dyed color.
Check the crown helmet. It matches the chestplate material and sits prominently on the player's head, making it easy to spot from any angle.
Scan the leggings and boots. These shortened pieces still display their material color clearly without obscuring leg movement.
Armor Trim Details
If the armor includes trims (decorative patterns), they scale down with the new minimal design and remain visible on the crown and shoulder pads. This helps you distinguish between players wearing similar base materials but different trim styles.
The reduced armor size means you'll see the player's actual skin and custom textures underneath, so you can identify both their gear *and* their character at once.
