How to Open Mazestone Vaults and Collect Loot

Finding Mazestone Vaults

Mazestone Vaults are hidden throughout the palace, particularly in the indoor farm rooms located in the middle sections. These sealed containers hold valuable treasure but cannot be opened with tools alone.

Using Unstable Ice Cores as Keys

Unstable Ice Cores spawn naturally within the palace. Your goal is to lure these cores near the Mazestone Vaults and trigger their explosion. When an Unstable Ice Core detonates close enough to a vault, the blast will break it open, revealing the loot inside.

Strategy for Success

Approach an Unstable Ice Core carefully to aggro it, then lead it toward a nearby Mazestone Vault. Keep your distance as it pursues you. Once the core is adjacent to or very close to the vault, it will eventually explode. The explosion is powerful, so move away to avoid taking damage. After the blast clears, collect the items that drop from the broken vault. Repeat this process for each vault you find throughout the palace.
