How to Use TweakerMore's Redstone Update Order Display for Debugging

Redstone contraptions can behave unexpectedly because update order matters. TweakerMore can visualize the order in which redstone updates propagate, which is invaluable when a circuit fires in the wrong sequence.

Turning on the display

1. Open the config with K + C or Mod Menu.

2. Locate the redstone category and enable the redstone update order display.

3. Build or load your circuit and trigger it. Updates are shown as they propagate, letting you see which component reacts first.

Reading and using the output

Watch the sequence as you power the circuit. If a piston extends before a repeater has finished its delay, or a comparator reads a stale signal, the display makes that ordering visible. Use it to decide where to insert a repeater or a tick of delay.

Practical cautions

This is a client-side visualization. It does not change how the server or your world actually processes redstone, so it cannot fix a circuit by itself. On servers, the displayed order reflects what your client observes, which can differ slightly from server-side timing under lag. Disable the display when you are done, since the extra rendering can clutter busy builds. If the overlay does not appear, confirm the toggle is on and that no other redstone-visualizing mod is intercepting the same rendering pass.
