How to Use Free Camera and Elytra Camera in Tweakerge

Free Camera gives you a spectator-style detached view while your character stays in place, and Elytra Camera does something similar while you are gliding.

Free Camera

Bind a key to Free Camera in the Controls menu (Tweakerge adds its own keybind category). Press it to detach your view — you can fly around and look at your build or scout terrain while your body remains where it was. Press the key again to snap back. Your character is still vulnerable while the camera is detached, so do not use it near mobs or in dangerous areas unless you are safe.

Elytra Camera

Enable Elytra Camera in the tweaks list. While you are flying with an elytra, this tweak changes the camera behavior so you can look around more freely without altering your flight path as drastically. This is helpful for spotting landing zones or taking in scenery during long glides. Pair it with Fast Switch Elytra and Chest Plate so you can quickly swap between your elytra and chestplate when you land. As with Free Camera, remember your hitbox still follows your actual movement, not your camera, so do not assume you are safe just because your view is elsewhere.
