How to Use Flexible Block Placement in Tweakerge
Flexible Block Placement lets you place blocks at angles and positions that vanilla Minecraft normally rejects, which is extremely useful for bridging, decorating, and building in tight spaces.
Enabling the Tweak
Open the Tweakerge config screen (default keybind is usually opened through the mod menu or a hotkey you can set in Controls). Navigate to the tweaks list and toggle Flexible Block Placement on. You can also enable the related sub-tweaks Flexible Block Placement Rotation and Flexible Block Placement Offset if you want the placed block to inherit your look direction or be nudged off the exact grid cell.
Placing Blocks at Odd Angles
Once enabled, look at the surface where you want the block. Instead of only placing when your crosshair hits a valid face, the tweak allows placement based on a wider range of aim positions. Combine it with Fast Block Placement to rapidly bridge or wall off areas. If blocks appear rotated unexpectedly, turn off the Rotation sub-tweak. If they snap to the wrong cell, disable the Offset sub-tweak. Test in a creative world first so you understand how each sub-option changes the result before using it on a survival build.
