Adjust Lighting Intensity for Your Computer

Open the Shader Settings

Press the settings key (default is usually a key like O or accessible through your shader menu) while in-game to open the TrueLight FX settings panel.

Find Lighting Controls

Look for options related to light intensity, brightness, or exposure. These sliders control how bright sunlight and ambient light appear in your world.

Reduce Settings for Better Performance

If you experience frame rate drops:

  • Lower the shadow quality or distance
  • Reduce light bounce or global illumination intensity
  • Disable advanced lighting features if available

Increase for Visual Quality

If your computer handles the mod well, increase lighting detail and shadow resolution for more realistic light behavior across terrain and structures.

Test Your Changes

Close the menu and observe how sunlight and shadows look in different biomes and times of day. Return to settings and fine-tune until you find the balance between visual quality and smooth gameplay.
