How Armor Trims Work

Earning Trim Powers

In Trims Overhaul, armor trims are no longer purely cosmetic. Each trim type grants a unique power or ability that you must unlock by completing a specific objective or quest tied to that trim.

When you equip armor with an unlocked trim, you gain its associated bonus or ability. Different trims have different challenges—some may require you to visit certain locations, defeat specific mobs, or accomplish particular tasks in your world.

This system transforms trimming from a decoration choice into a meaningful progression mechanic. Plan which trims to pursue based on the powers they offer and the challenges you're willing to complete. Unlocking multiple trims gives you flexibility in choosing which bonuses suit your current playstyle or goals.
