Set Up a Fully Powered Enchanting Table with Decorative Blocks
Gather Your Materials
Collect 15 bookshelves and your choice of transparent decorative blocks. Popular options include glass panes, leaves, flowers, or carpet for aesthetic variety.
Arrange Bookshelves Around the Table
Place your enchanting table in the center of your setup. Position bookshelves in a rectangular formation around it, keeping them within one block of distance from the table. You can place them directly adjacent or with a single air gap between each bookshelf and the table.
Fill Gaps with Transparent Blocks
Instead of leaving air gaps empty, place your chosen transparent blocks in the spaces between the table and bookshelves. Glass panes work well for visibility, while leaves create a natural aesthetic. Slabs and stairs allow creative layering without blocking the enchanting interface.
Verify Maximum Power
Approach the enchanting table and open it. You should see all three enchantment slots offering high-level enchantments (level 30 maximum). If power seems reduced, double-check that all 15 bookshelves are within range and that no opaque blocks are accidentally placed in the gap area.
This setup lets you create visually interesting enchanting rooms while maintaining full table effectiveness.
