Use Translucent GUI with Other Resource Packs

Compatibility and Load Order

The Translucent GUI Resource Pack is designed to work alongside other texture packs without conflicts. Since it only modifies GUI elements and not blocks or items, it pairs well with most packs.

Setting Up Multiple Packs

1. Place both the Translucent GUI Resource Pack and your other texture pack in your resourcepacks folder

2. Open the resource pack selection screen in-game

3. Arrange the packs in the Active list—place Translucent GUI either above or below your main pack depending on which you want to prioritize

4. If your main pack has custom GUIs, place Translucent GUI below it so the transparency effect applies on top

5. If you want Translucent GUI to take priority, place it above your other pack

6. Test in-game to see the result

Troubleshooting

If GUIs look wrong or textures conflict, try swapping the load order. Some texture packs include their own GUI modifications—in these cases, you may need to choose between them or manually merge the files if you're comfortable editing resource packs.
