Adjust GUI Transparency to Your Preference
Finding the Transparency Settings
The Translucent GUI Resource Pack applies transparency to all interface elements by default, but you can customize how see-through they appear. Look for the resource pack's configuration files in your resource packs folder.
Modifying Transparency Levels
1. Locate your resource pack folder (usually resourcepacks in your .minecraft directory)
2. Open the Translucent GUI Resource Pack folder
3. Find the texture files or configuration that controls GUI opacity—these are typically PNG files with alpha channel settings
4. You can adjust transparency by editing the texture files in an image editor, or look for any included .json configuration files that control opacity values
5. Lower opacity values make GUIs more transparent; higher values make them more opaque
6. Save your changes and reload the resource pack in-game
7. Test in your inventory, crafting menu, and other screens to ensure readability
Tips
If you're uncomfortable editing files directly, consider creating a duplicate of the resource pack first so you have a backup. Start with small adjustments—transparency that's too extreme can make text difficult to read during intense gameplay.
