Translating Wooden Signs

Signs placed by the server or other players can be translated without modifying the actual blocks. When you look at a sign, the mod displays translated text on your screen only.

Setup

1. Open /taio

2. Enable sign translation in the settings

3. Choose your target language

4. Close the menu

Now when you view any sign, the text will appear in your language. Other players see the original text—only your client is changed.

Translating Floating Text and Mob Names

The mod also handles:

• Holograms (floating text above NPCs or in the world)
• Mob names (custom names on mobs and bosses)
• Dropped item labels (text on items lying on the ground)

These all translate automatically once you enable entity text translation in /taio. This is especially useful on roleplay or quest servers where NPCs have names and descriptions you need to understand.
