Build Long-Distance Rail Networks Without Lag

Why Your Tracks Lag

When you place train tracks across your world, the game normally tries to connect every piece to every other piece—even those far away in unloaded chunks. This causes massive lag spikes, especially on large servers or when building across thousands of blocks.

Building Lag-Free

With this mod installed, track connections only happen between pieces in currently loaded chunks. This means:

1. Build in stages: Lay tracks in the chunk you're standing in, then move forward and load new chunks before continuing.

2. No pre-loading needed: You don't need to load distant chunks first—just walk toward your destination and build as you go.

3. Connections form automatically: As chunks load around you, tracks will connect naturally without lag spikes.

4. Test your route: Ride a minecart along your new tracks to confirm connections are solid before moving on.

Large Projects

For massive rail systems (thousands of blocks), break your building into sessions. The mod handles chunk-by-chunk connection smoothly, so you can build intercontinental networks without performance penalties. Your game stays responsive even with enormous track networks.
