Customize the Garden Layout
Understanding the Current Design
The garden features a central layout with pathways, decorative elements like lanterns and cherry blossom trees, and open spaces. Before making changes, walk the entire garden to understand the existing flow and identify areas you want to modify.
Adding Personal Touches
You can place additional decorative blocks, flowers, and plants throughout the garden. Gather materials from the surrounding biome or craft new decorative items. Consider adding more seating areas with stairs or slabs, additional water features like fountains, or themed garden sections.
Maintaining Balance
Keep pathways clear for easy walking and maintain sightlines to key features like the pond and main house. Avoid overcrowding—leave breathing room between decorative elements. If you add new structures, ensure they complement the existing Japanese aesthetic with appropriate materials like wood, stone, and natural plants. Test your changes by walking through the garden to ensure it still feels peaceful and navigable.
