Trading Post

The Trading Post is a single block added by this mod. Its purpose is to let you trade with villagers without moving them to your base or building a dedicated trading hall.

Place the Trading Post and it acts as a point where villager trades can be accessed remotely, so you no longer need to herd villagers into position or keep them penned near your workstation area. This makes it useful for players who want convenient access to a villager's trades while keeping villagers where they already are.

The mod adds only this one block, so the Trading Post is the entire mechanic: place it, then use it to reach villager trades without transporting the villagers themselves. Beyond that, its exact placement rules and interaction behavior follow from the block itself in-game.
