How to Navigate Vertical Challenges and Hazards in the Tower
Vertical Movement Options
The tower is built vertically with multiple floors stacked high. Use:
- Ladders: Placed on copper and deepslate walls for safe climbing
- Water buckets: Create water columns to fall safely or swim upward
- Elytra: If you have rockets, glide between floors or across open shafts
- Blocks: Place your own blocks to create temporary platforms
Avoiding Environmental Hazards
Watch for:
- Cobwebs: Slow your movement; break them or use a sword
- Knockback from Breeze mobs: Can send you falling; stay near walls
- Gaps between floors: Plan your jumps or use blocks to bridge them
- Spawner placement: Some spawners activate in narrow vertical shafts—prepare for confined combat
Safe Climbing Strategy
Take floors one at a time. Clear each level completely before ascending to the next. If you fall or take heavy damage, retreat to a lower floor to heal and regroup. Mark your path with torches or blocks so you can navigate back if needed. Never rush upward without securing your current position first.
