Set Up Attack and Use Buttons for Combat and Building

Configure Attack and Use Buttons

In the mod settings, enable both the attack button and use button. These are essential for combat, mining, and building. Position them where your dominant hand can reach comfortably—typically the right side of the screen.

Distinguish Between Actions

  • Attack button — left-click action; used for mining blocks, hitting mobs, and breaking objects
  • Use button — right-click action; used for placing blocks, opening doors, using tools, and interacting with entities

Optimize Button Placement for Your Playstyle

For building: Place the use button prominently and make it larger, since block placement is frequent. Keep attack slightly smaller.

For combat: Position both buttons close together for rapid switching between attacking and blocking (with a shield equipped).

Adjust Tap Sensitivity

If you find yourself accidentally triggering buttons, increase the button size or adjust spacing. If buttons feel sluggish, ensure they're not overlapping with other UI elements.

Test Your Setup

Enter a world and practice mining, placing blocks, and fighting mobs. Refine button positions and sizes until combat and building feel natural and responsive.
