Enable and Use Flight Controls on Touch
Activate Swim/Fly Mode Button
In the TouchController configuration menu, ensure the swim/fly context button is enabled. This button appears on your screen and lets you switch between different control modes without opening menus.
Switch Between Modes
Tap the swim/fly button to toggle between:
- Normal mode — standard movement and jumping
- Swim mode — activated when you enter water; your vertical controls adjust for swimming
- Fly mode — available in Creative mode or when flight is enabled; use vertical controls to ascend and descend
Control Flight Direction
Once in fly mode:
- Use your movement buttons (forward, back, strafe left/right) to move horizontally
- Tap the swim/fly button or use dedicated up/down buttons (if enabled) to control altitude
- Your look controls (camera movement) work the same as on ground
Optimize Your Layout
If you fly frequently, consider positioning the swim/fly button where your thumb naturally rests, and enable dedicated vertical movement buttons for smoother altitude control. This makes aerial navigation much more intuitive on touch devices.
