The Activation Sequence

When you take damage that would be fatal, your Totem of Undying activates automatically. The mod enhances this moment with party popper particle effects that shoot outward from your player, making the save feel more dramatic and celebratory.

Effects You'll Experience

Visual Effects:

• Colorful popper particles burst from your character in all directions
• The standard totem animation plays alongside the new particle effects
• The visual intensity makes the life-save feel more impactful

Gameplay Effects:

• Your health is restored
• You receive temporary status effects like Regeneration to help you recover
• Absorption hearts are granted for extra protection
• The totem is consumed and disappears from your inventory

After Activation

Once the totem activates, you'll be vulnerable again until you find another one. The party popper effect is purely cosmetic—it doesn't provide any additional mechanical benefits beyond the standard totem protection.
