Troubleshoot Auto Attack Not Working

Verify the Mod is Active

1. Press J to toggle Auto Attack on

2. Look for an in-game message confirming activation

3. Approach a hostile mob (like a Zombie or Creeper) to test

4. If nothing happens, the mod may not be properly loaded

Check Your Environment

• Single-player worlds: Auto Attack works in single-player, but the minimized feature only works in multiplayer
• Multiplayer/LAN worlds: Ensure you're connected to a server or LAN game
• Mobs in range: Make sure hostile mobs are close enough to be detected

Verify Keybind Settings

1. Open Options → Controls → Key Binds

2. Search for Auto Attack in the list

3. Confirm the keybind is set to a key you're actually pressing

4. If it shows "UNBOUND," click it and assign a key

Performance Check

The mod is lightweight, but ensure your game isn't frozen or paused. If Auto Attack still doesn't respond, try restarting Minecraft entirely.
