How ToolTipFix Keeps Long Tooltips On Screen

Wrapping Tooltips So Nothing Gets Cut Off

ToolTipFix is a client-side mod that solves one specific annoyance: item tooltips that stretch past the edge of your game window. When an item has a long custom name, several lines of lore, or a big list of enchantments, the default tooltip can run off the screen and hide information you actually want to read.

This mod wraps those long lines onto new lines so the whole tooltip stays inside your view. It also handles forced line breaks correctly, so text that was already split into separate lines stays neat instead of getting jumbled together.

It is especially useful for modded items, which often carry paragraphs of extra information in their tooltips. Because the mod runs entirely on your client, you can use it in singleplayer worlds and on multiplayer servers alike, without the server needing anything installed. No configuration is required to get the benefit.
