How to Use the Too Many Paintings Mod

Placing New Paintings

This mod adds over 50 new paintings to Minecraft, including real-world masterpieces by artists such as Van Gogh and da Vinci. The paintings are added to the existing painting pool, so you place them the same way you place any vanilla painting: craft or obtain a painting item, then right-click a wall.

Because the new artworks are integrated into the normal painting mechanic, they work in existing worlds without any extra setup. You do not need to generate a new world or enable anything special.

The painting you get is still chosen by the game based on the available space on the wall. To see a specific artwork, try placing paintings on walls of different sizes, or break and replace a painting until the one you want appears. Larger walls give the game more size options to choose from, which can help you get a particular piece.
