How to Stop Rubber-Banding and "Player Moved Too Fast" Kicks on Your Server
What the mod actually changes
Too Fast Mod is server-side only, so the fix happens on the server, not in the client. It removes the built-in movement speed ceiling that vanilla servers use to validate player positions. When that ceiling is active, fast movement (elytra, sprint-jumping, vehicles, high-speed mods, teleports that land you far from your last known position) gets flagged, and the server either snaps you back (rubber-banding) or disconnects you with a "player moved too fast" style message. With the mod installed on the server, those checks no longer reject legitimate fast movement.
Steps to apply it
1. Install Too Fast Mod on the server only. Clients do not need it, so vanilla and modded clients can both connect.
2. Restart the server so the movement check is replaced at startup.
3. Test with the exact action that was failing before — e.g. long elytra flights, sprint-jumping across chunks, or riding a fast vehicle.
4. If rubber-banding persists, check for other plugins or mods that enforce their own speed limits (anti-cheat plugins, movement validation mods). Too Fast Mod only removes the vanilla-style limit; a separate anti-cheat can still flag you.
5. Confirm Random Patches is not installed alongside it — the two conflict because Too Fast Mod is derived from Random Patches' speed limit code.
