Confirming Too Fast Mod Is Installed Correctly (Server-Side Only)
The key rule: server only
Too Fast Mod is a server-side mod. Players connect with unmodified clients. If you installed it on a client, it does nothing for the speed limit — the limit is enforced by the server, so the fix must live there.
Verifying it's working
1. Check the server's mods folder contains Too Fast Mod and that the server started without errors related to it.
2. Make sure Random Patches is not also in the folder — the two conflict.
3. Join with a normal client (no Too Fast Mod installed) and perform the fast action that used to fail.
4. If it now succeeds without rubber-banding or a "moved too fast" disconnect, the mod is active and doing its job.
5. If it still fails, the limit is likely from another source: an anti-cheat plugin, a movement-check mod, or a plugin with its own speed cap. Disable those one at a time to isolate the cause.
6. Do not add the mod to client instances expecting a change — it won't alter server-side validation from the client side.
Because it's server-side, you can roll it out to an existing world without asking players to update anything.
