Troubleshoot Sprint or Sneak Not Responding

Verify Your Keybinds Are Set

First, confirm that sprint and sneak have keybinds assigned. Go to Options → Controls and check that both actions have keys bound to them. If either shows "UNBOUND," click it and assign a key.

Check Toggle/Hold Settings

Make sure you've actually selected a mode (toggle or hold) for the action that isn't working. Simply having a key bound isn't enough—you must choose the behavior type in the same menu.

Test in a Safe Environment

Create a new world or go to a safe area in your current world. Try your sprint and sneak keys to see if they respond. Move forward while testing to ensure the game recognizes your input.

Restart If Needed

If settings don't seem to apply, save your world and restart Minecraft completely. Sometimes the game needs to reload to register control changes.

Verify Mod Is Loaded

Check your mod list in the main menu to confirm Toggle Toggle Sprint appears. If it's missing, the mod may not be properly installed.
