Set Up Your Scoreboard Toggle Keybind
Access Keybind Settings
Before you can toggle the scoreboard, you need to assign a keybind. Open Minecraft and go to Options from the main menu, then select Controls.
Find and Assign the Toggle Key
Scroll through the controls list to find the Toggle Scoreboard option. Click on it to select it, then press the key you want to use as your toggle. Common choices are unused function keys like F5, F6, or F7, but you can assign any key that doesn't conflict with your other binds.
Once you've pressed your chosen key, the binding will be saved automatically. You can change it anytime by returning to Controls and clicking the binding again.
Test Your Keybind
Join a multiplayer server with an active scoreboard. Press your newly assigned key—the scoreboard should disappear from the right side of your screen. Press it again to make it reappear. If the scoreboard doesn't toggle, double-check that your keybind was saved correctly in the Controls menu.
