Why hide the boss bar

Boss bars (like the Ender Dragon or Wither health display) take up screen space and can impact FPS, especially on servers with custom bosses or frequent boss fights.

Toggle the boss bar

Press the M key to hide the boss bar. Press it again to show it.

This is independent of the nametag toggles, so you can hide the boss bar while keeping player and mob nametags visible, or vice versa. It's particularly useful on servers that spawn frequent boss entities or use custom boss plugins that display multiple health bars.

Combine with other toggles

For maximum performance on crowded servers, use all three toggles together:

• Minus (-) for player nametags
• Equals (=) for mob nametags
• M for boss bar

You can enable and disable each independently based on your current activity, whether you're in combat, building, or just exploring.
