Change the Keybinds for Nametag Toggles

Access key bind settings

The default keys (minus, equals, M, and right bracket) may conflict with other mods or feel uncomfortable. You can reassign them to any keys you prefer.

Customize your controls

1. Open your Key Bind Settings (usually in the main menu under Options)

2. Search for or scroll to find the Toggle Nametags Mod entries:

• Toggle Nametags (default: minus)
• Toggle Other Nametags (default: equals)
• Toggle Bossbar (default: M)
• Show Your Own Nametag (default: right bracket)

3. Click each binding and press your desired key

4. Close the settings menu to save

Choose keys that don't conflict with your other mods or gameplay needs. Many players prefer moving these to number keys or function keys for easier access during combat or building.
