Fixing Item Frames That Won't Toggle or Stay Hidden

Check Your Inputs First

Most toggle failures come down to input, not the mod. Confirm three things: your hand is completely empty, you are holding the sneak key, and you are right-clicking the frame itself rather than the block behind it. If you are holding a block or tool, the game treats the click as a normal interaction. If you are not sneaking, the click rotates the item instead of hiding the frame.

Frame Still Visible After Toggling

If a frame refuses to hide, try breaking line of sight and approaching again, then repeat the sneak-right-click. Make sure you are not clicking a different frame than the one you think you are targeting, especially on walls with several frames packed together. Aim at the center of the frame's face.

Frame Seems Gone but You Need It Back

Use the detection trick: hold an item frame in your hand and walk nearby. Hidden frames highlight briefly, letting you pinpoint the exact block to click. Once located, sneak and right-click with an empty hand to restore visibility.

When Nothing Works

Reload the world or rejoin the server, since visibility state can occasionally desync between client and server. If a single frame stays stubborn while others toggle fine, break and replace that frame, then toggle it again.
