Hide Block Outlines for Clean Screenshots
Toggle the Outline Off
When you're ready to take a screenshot, press B to hide the black selection box around blocks. This removes the outline that appears when you look at any block, giving your screenshots a cleaner, uncluttered appearance.
Frame Your Shot
Once the outline is hidden, position your camera to frame the scene you want to capture. Look around naturally—the absence of the black box means nothing will distract from the landscape, buildings, or details you're photographing.
Re-enable When Done
After you've taken your screenshots, press B again to turn the outline back on. This restores the normal block selection indicator so you can see what you're pointing at while building or exploring.
Tip
The toggle state persists as you move around the world, so you can keep the outline hidden for multiple shots without pressing the key repeatedly. This is especially useful when taking a series of photos from different angles.
