How to Sync Advancements Between Teammates in Together Forever

What Syncing Does

Advancement syncing is enabled by default. When any member of your team earns an advancement, the mod grants that same advancement to the other members. If a teammate is offline when it happens, the sync is queued and applied the next time they join the server.

Making It Work

1. Make sure everyone you want to share progress with is in the same team. Use /tf invite <player_name> and have them /tf accept <your_name>.

2. Play normally. There is no button to press; earning an advancement triggers the sync automatically.

3. If something looks out of date, run /tf forcesync. This manually pushes the current team state to all members.

4. Check /tf info to verify the team roster if an advancement did not appear for someone.

Things to Know

Syncing is one-directional in effect but shared across the whole team, so one player's progress propagates to everyone. If you do not want certain progress shared, the sync types can be turned off in the mod's config. Offline players are handled gracefully: the mod remembers pending syncs and applies them on login rather than losing them.
