How to Create a Team and Invite Players in Together Forever
Starting a Team
You do not need a special item or block to start a team. The first time you invite someone, a team is created for you automatically.
1. Type /tf invite <player_name> in chat, replacing <player_name> with the exact in-game name of the person you want on your team.
2. If you were not already in a team, the mod creates one with you as its owner. The invited player receives a chat prompt.
3. The invited player types /tf accept <your_name> to join, or /tf decline <your_name> to refuse.
4. Run /tf info at any time to confirm who is currently on your team and who owns it.
Managing Invites
Only the team owner can kick members with /tf kick <player_name>. Any member can leave on their own with /tf leave. If you want to invite several people, repeat the invite command for each name; each one accepts individually. Invites do not expire on their own, so a player who was offline can still accept later when they log in.
Why Bother
Once a team exists, the mod begins syncing things like advancements and gamestages between members by default. That means progress one member earns can be shared with the rest, even if they were offline at the time.
