Switch Between Different Minecraft Versions

Selecting a Version

TLauncher's main advantage is access to multiple Minecraft versions. In the launcher window, locate the version dropdown menu. This displays all available versions—from classic releases to snapshots and old builds.

Select your desired version and click play. TLauncher will download and prepare that version if you haven't played it before.

Creating Separate Instances

To keep different versions organized, create separate instances for each version you play. This prevents mod conflicts and allows you to maintain different worlds and settings.

Each instance stores its own saves, resource packs, and configuration files independently. This is especially useful if you want to play modded versions alongside vanilla versions, or test different mod combinations without affecting your main world.

You can name instances descriptively (like "Vanilla 1.20" or "Modded Exploration") to quickly identify which version you're launching.
