Add a New Tip to Your Loading Screen

Locate the Configuration File

Find the Tips Mod config file in your modpack's config folder. This is where all tips are stored and managed.

Edit the Tips List

Open the config file in a text editor. You'll see an existing list of tips formatted as text entries. Each tip is a separate line or entry in the configuration.

Add your new tip by following the same format as the existing entries. You can include:

• Helpful gameplay advice
• Jokes or entertaining messages
• Modpack-specific information
• Warnings or important reminders

Save and Test

Save the config file. The next time you load a world, your new tip will be included in the random rotation on the loading screen. If the tip doesn't appear immediately, try restarting the game or creating a new world to see the changes take effect.

Tips for Good Tips

Keep messages concise so they fit on screen. Use clear language that players will understand. Consider the tone of your modpack—match your tips to its style and audience.
