Troubleshoot Overlay Not Appearing or Responding

Verify the Overlay is Enabled

Open your mod settings and confirm the keystroke overlay feature is toggled on. Check that the overlay isn't positioned off-screen or set to zero opacity, which would make it invisible. Adjust position and transparency values to ensure they're within visible ranges.

Check Key Binding Configuration

Confirm that your movement and action keys are properly bound in both Minecraft's controls settings and the mod's configuration. If keys aren't responding, they may be bound to conflicting keys or disabled in the mod settings.

Test with Different Keys

Press multiple different keys and mouse buttons to determine if the issue affects all inputs or only specific ones. This helps identify whether the problem is with the overlay itself or with particular key bindings.

Reset to Defaults

If customizations have caused issues, look for a reset option in the settings menu to restore default configuration. Then reconfigure your overlay step-by-step, testing after each change.

Verify Mod is Active

Confirm the mod is loaded by checking your mods list in-game. Restart Minecraft if the overlay still doesn't appear after trying the above steps.
