Set Up Your Keystroke Overlay for Streaming

Opening the Overlay Settings

Press the designated settings key (configurable in your mod options) to open the Tip Tap Show Mod configuration menu. This menu appears in-game without requiring a restart or game exit.

Positioning and Sizing

Locate the position settings to move your keystroke display to a corner of your screen that doesn't obstruct gameplay or important UI elements. Common positions for streamers are the bottom-left or bottom-right corner. Adjust the scale slider to make the overlay large enough for viewers to see clearly, but not so large that it dominates your screen.

Customizing Display Options

Configure which input types you want displayed:

  • Keyboard keys (WASD, spacebar, etc.)
  • Mouse buttons (left-click, right-click)
  • Scroll wheel actions

Toggle visibility for each category based on what's most relevant to your content. You can also adjust colors and transparency to match your stream aesthetic or ensure contrast against your game background.

Testing Before Stream

Press various keys and mouse buttons to verify the overlay responds correctly and displays in the position you've chosen. Make any final adjustments to ensure the overlay enhances rather than distracts from your stream.
