How to Check Real-World Time Zones In-Game

Checking Times Across Time Zones

Coordinating a play session with friends in different countries is easier when everyone can see the clock without alt-tabbing. The TimeZones Plugin prints real-world times straight into your server chat.

Open your chat window and type /serverTime. With no arguments, the command prints the current Eastern Standard Time (EST) in chat. This is the default time zone, so it is the quickest way to check the clock.

To look up a different region, type /serverTime followed by the time zone you want, for example /serverTime [timezone]. The plugin then prints the current time for that zone instead of EST.

The plugin also lets you change the text message that appears right before the actual time prints. That way the chat output can be labeled however you prefer, making it clear which zone you just checked.

Read the chat line to see the time, then use it to plan events with players in other parts of the world.
