Hide the Durability Number Display on Specific Items

Access the Configuration Menu

Open your mod configuration settings. The exact location depends on your mod menu setup, but typically you'll find Till It Breaks settings in your main mod config folder or through an in-game config menu.

Customize Display Per Item Type

Locate the durability display options. You can selectively hide the number overlay on certain item categories:

• Armor pieces: Toggle display on helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots individually
• Tools: Hide numbers on pickaxes, shovels, axes, hoes, or fishing rods
• Weapons: Disable display on swords and other combat items
• Other items: Configure display for bows, shields, or enchanted gear

Apply and Test

Save your configuration changes. Return to your inventory and verify that the selected items no longer show durability numbers while others still display them. You can toggle these settings on and off at any time without restarting your world.

This approach lets you keep durability visible where you need it most while reducing visual clutter on items you check less frequently.
