Disable the Vanilla Durability Bar While Keeping the Number Display

Locate Durability Bar Settings

Open your Till It Breaks mod configuration. Find the option specifically for vanilla durability bar visibility—this is separate from the number display setting.

Toggle the Vanilla Bar Off

Disable the standard Minecraft durability bar that normally appears as a colored overlay on item icons. This removes the gradient bar effect while keeping the numerical durability value visible on your items.

Verify the Change

Check your inventory with a worn tool or armor piece. You should see only the durability number displayed on the item icon, with no colored bar underneath it.

Why Use This Setting?

Removing the vanilla bar reduces visual noise in your inventory while the number provides precise durability information at a glance. This is especially useful if you find the colored bar distracting or if you prefer a cleaner inventory aesthetic. You can always re-enable it if you prefer the traditional bar display.
