Prevent Animation Conflicts When Switching Tools
Understanding Animation Priority
This mod prevents visual glitches by managing which animation system takes priority. When you switch between melee weapons, firearms, and tools, animations blend smoothly without clipping or broken poses.
What the Mod Handles Automatically
1. Melee to melee: Switching between swords, axes, or other Epic Fight weapons stays in third-person with smooth transitions.
2. Melee to firearm: Your character returns to first-person for aiming without animation stuttering.
3. Tool swapping: Picking up a pickaxe or shovel instantly returns you to first-person exploration mode with proper Punchy animations.
4. Model clipping prevention: The mod detects potential visual conflicts and adjusts camera angles or animation playback to avoid overlapping models.
Best Practice
- Use your hotbar to organize weapons and tools logically (melee in slots 1–3, firearms in 4–5, tools in 6–9). This makes switching intuitive and keeps animations responsive.
- If you notice any lingering visual issues, try re-equipping the weapon or reloading your world.
