Finding and Exploring a Tidal Town

A Village on the Waves

Tidal Towns adds a village that floats on the ocean, built from driftwood gathered across the water. Instead of sitting on land, the settlement rides the waves, so you will need a boat or a way to swim out to reach it.

Look for clusters of driftwood platforms and walkways out on open water. Because the town is assembled from salvaged wood rather than solid ground, its layout is irregular, with connected decks and floating structures rather than a fixed street plan.

Once you arrive, treat it like any other village: explore the structures, meet the residents, and take in how the build uses driftwood as its main material. Bring a boat so you can move between the floating sections and return to shore afterward.

If you cannot locate one near your spawn, sail along the coast and out into deeper ocean until you spot the driftwood silhouette on the horizon.
