Aiming and Throwing

Hold a fireball in your hand and aim at your target. Right-click to throw it. The fireball travels in an arc, so account for distance and gravity—throw from higher ground for better range. Practice your aim in low-stakes situations first.

Understanding the Blast

When a fireball hits a surface or entity, it explodes immediately. The explosion damages nearby mobs and players, breaks blocks in a radius, and spreads fire. This makes fireballs effective for clearing groups of enemies or dealing burst damage to tough opponents.

Combat Strategy

Use fireballs as a finishing weapon or crowd control tool. They're most effective in open areas where the blast radius can fully expand. In tight spaces, the explosion may be partially blocked by terrain. Keep fireballs in your hotbar during dangerous situations, and craft extras before heading into combat zones. Remember that fireballs consume inventory space, so balance them with other weapons and supplies.
