Identify the terrain you want to clear—whether it's a hillside, forest, or building site. Fireballs are useful for rapid block destruction, but they're less precise than mining. Use them for bulk clearing rather than detailed work.

Throwing for Maximum Effect

Throw fireballs at ground level or structures to maximize block destruction. The explosion breaks blocks in a radius around the impact point. Multiple throws in the same area will clear larger sections faster than manual mining. Be aware that some blocks may be destroyed while others remain, depending on blast intensity.

Safety Considerations

Clear terrain away from your base or important structures, as fireballs create fire that spreads. The fire will eventually burn out, but it can damage wooden builds or spread to nearby forests. Consider using fireballs in areas with stone or dirt where fire won't cause lasting damage. Always have water or a way to extinguish fires nearby when clearing terrain with this method.
