Increase Game Performance by Adjusting Thread Priorities
Access the Thread Priority Menu
Open the mod's configuration menu while in-game. You can typically access this through the mod menu or by using the designated keybind (check your controls settings). The menu displays your system's current thread allocation and priority levels.
Adjust CPU Thread Settings
Thread Tweak Reforged lets you assign different priority levels to game threads. Higher priority means your CPU dedicates more processing power to Minecraft, potentially reducing lag and improving frame rates. Lower priority threads handle background tasks that won't impact gameplay as much.
Apply Changes Without Restarting
One of the mod's key features is real-time adjustment—you don't need to close your world or restart the game to apply new thread priority settings. Make a change, and the effect takes place immediately.
Monitor Results
After adjusting settings, observe your frame rate and responsiveness. If performance improves, keep those settings. If you experience stuttering or other issues, try different priority configurations. The optimal setup depends on your specific hardware and what other programs run in the background.
