Rebind the Debug Menu (F3) to a Custom Key

Access the Keybindings Menu

Open your game settings and navigate to Options → Controls. Scroll through the list to find Toggle Debug Screen (or similar debug-related binding). This is the hardcoded F3 key that most mods cannot rebind.

Change the Keybinding

Click on the binding entry. You'll see the current key displayed. Click it again and press your desired key combination—this might be a letter, number, or modifier key like Ctrl + D. The mod will register your new input.

Confirm the change by clicking elsewhere or pressing Enter. Your new keybinding is now active.

Test Your New Binding

Close the settings menu and press your newly bound key in-game. The debug screen should appear, confirming the rebind worked. If it doesn't respond, return to Controls and verify the binding was saved correctly.

Note: Some key combinations may conflict with other game functions. If your new key doesn't work, try a different combination or check for conflicts in the full keybindings list.
