Take Better Screenshots and Videos

Capturing Your Character Authentically

Third-person view with your visible nametag lets you take screenshots and record videos that show your character as other players see you. This is valuable for content creation, server documentation, or simply preserving memories of your gameplay.

Setting Up Your Shot

1. Press F5 to enter third-person view

2. Rotate your camera using the mouse to frame your character

3. Position yourself in the scene—near builds, landmarks, or other players

4. Your nametag will be visible above your head, just like in multiplayer

5. Press F2 (default) to take a screenshot, or start recording with your preferred tool

Video Recording Tips

When recording, third-person view with your nametag visible creates a more immersive perspective for viewers. They can see exactly who is performing actions in the video. Rotate your camera smoothly to show off builds or demonstrate gameplay mechanics while keeping your character framed in the shot. The nametag adds authenticity and clarity to multiplayer or server-based content.
